Finch branch, the food is very good, we went there almost every week and still would like to try the new courses. Usually we spend under $50 for two. I think the taste of the food is more like sourthern flavors.
Service is slightly above average, but goes down when it's busy. This is understandable. Food is presented very soon after order.
They also provide free dessert (sweet red bean soup) after you ask for the bill (dinner time only).

I would only recommend this restaurant to westerner. Modified Chinese Food!
Food was ok, the speed was ok as well, but the service wasn't. The waitress were not friendly at all. She made a mistake on my order (They gave me sth that I didn't order), and I said that I don't want it, and she threw the food to the table. Then, I was so mad that I had to call the manager. I mean you don't throw the food to the table if the costumer doesn't want it, right?

The price is OK in downtown area, but the food is not so OK... I can see they are trying to sell the food to the western rather than Chinese. SO if you are not Chinese you may like it.

2家店都去吃过。先说downtown那家，朋友们说的都对，菜不对版，纯属骗老外的改良菜，服务态度极差，环境极差。再说finch的那家，装修是好了，可是价钱也承受不起了，还是给老外吃的地方。厨子估计是拿手淮扬菜，一北方菜馆，居然是江南的面点觉得还好吃些。那天点了一烤鸭，薄薄的铺了一盘子，就再也没有了，怀疑给后台的遗留了，葱丝，黄瓜丝，大酱一小小碟，怀疑是不是让我们吃的，卷鸭皮的薄饼也做的不地道。总之那天3人吃了快$100,结帐后就再没去吃过。

味道是所谓“改良”版的，不地道，但是说的过去，是所谓“骗老外”的店。但是在dundas上基本是装修环境比较漂亮的，人通常比较多，服务通常赶不上。虽然是北方馆，但是广东人吃的多。。。举个例子，我有一次点了一个海鲜锅巴，一个素杂菜，结果那个海鲜锅巴里的配菜和那个炒素杂菜是一摸一样的。

個人認爲東西都不錯，特別是點心，作爲上海人，我覺得味香村的小籠包可以和上海城隍廟的小籠包媲美。Downtown店的環境很好，廁所非常乾淨。本人特別喜歡去downtown. 而且每傢店都各有特色。讚

The hot & sour soup tasted like hot water with some tofu, bamboo shoot, vinegar and pepper. We told the waiter about it and he offered to bring us another bowl but we said no but they still charged us for it.
The quality of the meat was low so the pork rib was tough and chewy. We will never go back again.

撇开一切不说，菜的味道还是可以的。
可是，
菜名跟事实不相符。。。
都被改“良”了~~~~~~~~
川菜，不是四川的人觉得好吃。。。
狂汗中。。。。
价钱确实比较贵。。。
服务属于丢了盘子就走人型。。。
不过，是请西人吃中国菜得不错选择。。。
ps:不要说我狠，但我觉得Finch那家的服务员，面向，有待提高。。。

去过北约克的那家分店.号称是北方口味,简直骗人啊. 菜的味道很一般. 和店面的环境很不相符.而且价格够贵.根本和菜的水平不吻合.菜连家常做的都不如,可价格贵到够星级了.服务比较烂. 太让人失望了. 不会再去第二次了.

This crisp looking clean and modern restaurant that specializes in northern and southern Szechwan is located in the heart of Chinatown. There are plenty of soups with meat filled dumplings available as well as heavier entrees such as bass in black bean sauce and Szechuan smoked duck. Deep fried bananas are offered as dessert.
The service is prompt and polite. The average cost of dinner per person is $50 including the tip.
